Polarized Lenses
Suncloud polarized lenses feature the very latest advancements in polarized lens technology. Suncloud polarized lenses expressly filter and eliminate horizontally reflected, visually interfering light waves known as "glare". This results in extraordinary visual clarity, definition, color transmission and comfort.
Polycarbonate Lenses
The polarized lenses in Suncloud Sunglasses and Readers are crafted in polycarbonate, an incredibly lightweight, yet incredibly durable material that resists impact. Polycarbonate is so durable and strong that it is also used to make bulletproof vests. In addition, polycarbonate lenses provide superior vision correction and can be used in thinner eyewear profiles in comparison to both glass and plastic lenses. You’ll be able to comfortably wear your Suncloud Polycarbonate sunglasses all day long.
UV Protection
All Suncloud polarized sunglasses and readers feature UVA and UVB protective coating. This special coating safeguards your eyes from harmful UVA and UVB rays, which inevitably could cause damage to your eyes and vision. Interestingly, all UVA and most UVB rays are transmitted through the planet’s atmosphere while some UVB and UVC rays are absorbed in the earth’s ozone layers.

Megol Nose Pads
Numerous Suncloud Sunglasses and Readers have Megol Nose Pads. Placed at the nose and on the temple tips, Megol gently grips your skin to help keep the frame in place. The gripping power increases when introduced to moisture.
BASE CURVE
The base curve is the radius of the sphere measured from the back of the lens. Suncloud offers styles with 6,8 and 9 base lens curvature. Models that include 6 base tend to be more flat relative to your face. While 9 base styles provide the maximum amount of wrap around your face.
